From Labor Day through Memorial Day each Wednesday evening at First Methodist features a catered family meal followed by age-appropriate activities for the whole family. The hot meal is served between 5:30 and 6:15 with a different menu each week. At 6:30 the children (Grades K-6) gather in various classrooms for activities while the youth (Grades 7-12) retire to the “hut” for activities led by the Youth Director.
Pastor Ken Timmerman and the adults remain in the fellowship hall for lessons, discussions and Bible Study addressing a series of interesting and topical subjects. Previous topics have included “Methodism 101” and “The Book of Job.” The cost of the meal is $7 for adults and $3 for children under 12. Please call (537-7002) or email (angie@fumccheraw.net) or ask to be placed on the “Regulars List” to secure your dinner reservation.
