Every Fall season, many of us get excited about rooting on our favorite sports teams! We wear our teams’ jerseys…we decorate our vehicles…we attend games and scream our lungs out!!! Well during this Fall season, our FUMC Evangelism Committee would like to invite you to celebrate a team every one of us loves…Team Jesus! On Sunday, October 28, you are invited to an FUMC Community Tailgate…outside on our Third Street Lawn, immediately following worship. Our Team Jesus Tailgate Celebration will be an all-day event…wear your favorite team colors/jerseys/apparel to worship….decorate your vehicles as you would when you go to your favorite team’s game…and then come on out and fellowship with us!
During our post-worship celebration, we invite you to bring chips, or a dessert, or a side dish to share. FUMC will supply sub sandwiches and beverages. We will celebrate the blessing of being a family of faith together…we will play games…we will eat lots of food…just like at any tailgate! Also…there will be a “best decorated” contest. See you on the 28th!
