During the Sunday worship service on Feb 23 the members of Boy Scout Troop 655, Cub Scout Pack 653 and their adult leadership will be honored in recognition of Boy Scout Sunday. The United Methodist Men of Cheraw’s First Methodist Church have sponsored Troop 655 and scouting’s presence in this community since the early 1960’s with the participation of hundreds of local youth and the award to 59 young men the rank of Eagle Scout.
