Six local high school graduates and one Winthrop freshman will be awarded scholarships this Sunday endowed by First Methodist members. The scholarships, awarded annually, honor Lucy Brasington, Hubert Norton, Stephen Scott Burr, Dr. Maxcy Hook, Charlie Scott Laney, Jr., F Garland Streete, Anne Watson Eutsler and C Anthony and Jean L Harris.
