Eleven students and three adults departed early Saturday morning from First Methodist for the South Carolina upstate and a week of mission work in the town of Pendleton as a part of the Salkehatchie Summer Service project. Those leaving from Cheraw will be joined by four more students and two more adults at their destination as a part of the FUMC contingent.
