The azaleas will be blooming, the sun will be out and the mercury will be at a modest 78 degrees on Saturday, March 31st. Where better to be than in the ‘prettiest town in Dixie’ during the Spring Festival enjoying the arts and entertainment at many venues and the best meal in town at our own First Methodist Barbecue Buffet. The Methodist Men annually sponsor two such events to raise funds for the support of our Cub Scout pack and Boy Scout troop and other efforts which they fund. Between the hours of 11 am and 2 pm, you can
enjoy a sit-down meal in the fellowship hall at the scrumptious and lengthy buffet or you can drive through and pick up a hefty take-out plate. And if you have some time Saturday, there is always room for extra volunteers in the pit area from Friday night through Saturday morning and in the kitchen Saturday morning and afternoon.
