Ash Wednesday and the beginning of the season of Lent will be observed in the First Methodist sanctuary on Wednesday, February 10 at 6:30 pm. This service will follow a meal in the fellowship hall which begins at 5:30. The Reverend Robin Dease, Superintendent for the Hartsville District, will lead us.

Sunday evening at First Church the sanctuary was nearly filled as music director Shane Robertson and Limestone professor David Thompson presented a program of seasonal music featuring performances on two grand pianos. Fifteen selections spanning classical, popular and traditional genres delighted the crowd estimated to be well in excess of two hundred.
