All FUMC students are encouraged to bring their school backpacks to the August 16 morning worship service. During the service Rev Jack Vickers will offer the traditional ‘blessing of the backpacks’ in recognition of the start of another school year and the academic, social and spiritual growth that is sought for these students as they continue their education.
