I have always believed that if I ever wrote an autobiography I would entitle it, Thanks, Kurt. I feel that most of the book would be thanking those people who have blessed and enriched my life in so many different ways.
Even though I have been here for a brief two years, it has been rewarding and meaningful. I want to thank you for loving, caring for, and supporting me and my family. I will never forget my time at First Cheraw and I wish you God’s richest blessings.
I close my last column not with a joke but with a scriptural quote from Paul’s second letter to the church at Corinth (2 Corinthians 13:11, 14): “Dear brothers and sisters, I close my letter with these last words: Be joyful. Grow in maturity. Encourage each other. Live in harmony and peace. Then the love of God and peace will be with you…May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.”
In Christ,
Kurt
